妹妹 is 672grams @ 24 weeks!

妹妹 is 672grams @ 24 weeks! Mummy, can u remember how much did I weigh at 24 weeks??? I was a big baby then. Though I was born at 36.5 weeks but I weighed 3.05kg leh!

When the pictures of "Rumah Tinngi Warehouse" were posted, 老姨 called Mummy and asked if that was my house in sembawang! 老姨 didn't read the wordings but just quickly glance through the pictures. 老姨, how could that be??? It will never happen to my sembawang house or bishan Ah Ma house. Though the "standard" in bishan Ah Ma house has dropped ever since I was born but then again it will never drop to "Rumah Tinggi Warehouse" that level of standard.

This is my room. The baby cot is temporary stationed in my room till baby is born. Hehe.. Sorry 妹妹, u got to use my old cot cos Papa didn't want to sell it away.

This is Mummy & Papa's room. I'm sleeping on the blue little twin stars mattress. There are 2 mattress leh! One is about 2.5" and the other is about 3". Mummy has tested on the mattress to make sure that it's comfortable. I will be "upgraded" to sleep in my own room on the bed when 妹妹 is born, as that baby cot will be placed beside the bed. *Sob Sob*

And finally the study room. Mummy still find the study room a bit messy with all those things(to be exact, Papa's things) hanging around on the table. Mummy has been nagging Papa to clear all those things but the reply she get is "I need to use those things!" *Sigh*

I told Ah Ma that I want to have 1妹妹 & 2弟弟. Mummy asked if 1 妹妹 will suffice? I told her "NO!" Mummy asked again "How about 2 妹妹 or 1妹妹 & 1弟弟?" Mummy, no! I want 1妹妹 & 2弟弟. *Faint* Mummy said " Sorry lor, Lele your mummy is not a 母猪 lor so will stop at just 1 妹妹! If your Mummy or Papa strike Toto one day, maybe can consider another 妹妹 or 弟弟 for u!"

Speech & Drama Lessons @ Lorna Whiston

I started my speech and drama lesson @ Lorna Whiston(United Square Branch). Mummy and Papa felt that I need to polish my english speaking skills as I have been speaking lots of Singlish.

I missed the 1st lesson last sunday as the class was full and was put on waiting list for the 11.30am sunday slot. Mummy got a call on Friday that there's a slot for me! And here we are setting off to United Square.

When I reached the school, I refused to go in. Mummy and Papa accompanied me inside the room for about 20 mins before they left me alone with the 3 teachers. I can only remember 2 teachers' name(Ms Sarah and Ms Marianna).

The theme for the 2nd lesson is "I" and the teachers asked the kids to find the alphabet which is pasted at one corner of the room. We were then introduced to the various words starting like "I" like ice, india, igloo and insects. Mummy left the room during this time and I was ok and didn't cry. Mummy peeped at me through the glass panel on the door and was me standing away from the group. But there was this friendly little gal who came to me and hold my hands and asked me to join the group. Hehehe... so nice and friendly of this little gal called Rae-Ann.

I don't go there to play play only hor. I need to do homework one ok? Here I am sitting at the dinning table doing my "homework"

Rumah Tinggi "Warehouse"

Once a week, Papa, Mummy and I will have to go to Rumah Tinggi Ah Ma's house(aka Rumah Tinggi "Warehouse"). It used to be a clean and tidy place till 叔叔 & 婶婶 rented out their 4 room flat in Clementi for $1700 per month and shifted to stay with Tinggi Ah Ma.

Papa used to share the room with 叔叔 and Papa occupied the upper deck of the bed(cos Papa is more slim than 叔叔 so can climb up and down). But now, the bed has become a storage space for 婶婶(see picture below) and now when Papa need to rest in Tinggi Ah Ma' house, he has to sleep on the sofa. Poor Papa!



Underneath the bed, it's stocked with bags and bags of stuff and near the door too and 叔叔, 婶婶 and their 2 kids sleep on this thin mattress just infront of the cupboards.

When 姑姑 is not at home, my nap will be settled on this thin mattress(should be around 1") in 姑姑's room. If Mummy is tired, she will have to share the single size thin mattress with me and Mummy doesn't have a pillow and she will have use my bloster as the pillow after I slept. Poor Mummy! Now that she's preggie with 妹妹, sleeping on that thin mattress is giving her backache. *Sigh* If 姑姑 is at home, I will become a "ball" and ganna kicked to Tinggi's Ah Ma's room. In short, I do not have a definite place to nap, it depends on who is at home on the day I went to Rumah Tinggi "Warehouse".

This is the study room where Papa used to study and do his stuff but now it has bee hogged by 叔叔(physically) & 婶婶's "treasures". Mummy and Ah Ma told Tinggi Ah Ma that when 妹妹 is borned, Mummy will need a room to breastfeed 妹妹 and pump milk(can't ask Mummy to breastfeed 妹妹 in the living room rite?). Mummy and Ah Ma suggested the study room since 叔叔 & 婶婶 has already kicked Papa out of his room but Tinggi Ah Ma said 叔叔 needs to use the room. That's to say, NO ROOM for me and 妹妹, Mummy and Papa. Where is 妹妹, Papa & I going to nap? Where is Mummy going to breastfeed 妹妹? We will be 4 "balls" ganna kicked to wherever it's available on the day itself.

Reasons why Mummy doesn't like to go Rumah Tinggi "Warehouse"

1. The messy rooms is giving her headache.

2. Screams from Ah Boy Kor Kor which sounds like needle poking into your ears. Mummy scared it will injure my ear drums.

3. Ah Boy Kor Kor will beat me for no reason and damage things like broking the glass panel on the coffee table and making the fan topple over. Mummy is worried that if I'm around, I will be hurt by the toppled fan or glass pieces.

4. A house stocked up with lots of "treasures" is very prone to fire and if a fire is caught, I will be in danger.

5. A house stocked up with lots of "treasures" is also the best house for ants, cockroaches, lizards & mosquitos. I was bitten by the mosquitos in Rumah Tinggi "Warehouse" last saturday. *Ouch*

6. A thick mattress slept by Papa cannot be used by me and I got to settle on the thin mattress cos the thick mattress was used as a storage space.

7. No pillows for Mummy if she's tired and wish to nap. She has to "snatch" my bloster.

1st Day in Nursery

It's my 1st day in the nursery today. Mummy took half day leave to accompany me to school. She started waking me up from 8am and it took mummy and Ah Ma almost 45 minutes to get me all ready to school. I refused to put on the new uniform and wanted to wear the old orange school tee. Mummy said now I have grown up so there's need to change to a school for bigger kids and therefore the new blue uniform.

I'm quite happy with the new school as there were lots of toys in the classroom. My new teacher is Teacher Felicia. I also have 5 familiar faces with me in the same class, there are Pearlyn, Grace, Kai Ling, Richard and Oliver. We were all classroom in Joyhouse Montessori. Hehe... During the snack time, the 6 of us all just "group" ourselves together and sat at the same table.

I didn't cry today and I just stare blankly at the the little boy and the malay gal who cried for Mummy. Mummy left the classroom after 1 hr and peep at me from the window.

Time passed so fast and before I know 3 hrs have passed and it's time to go home!

Another new toy for me!

Mummy got this new toy for me from the spree. Cheap cheap neh, $25++ including shipping from US. Robinsons was selling this at $63(after discount). It's quite a fun game and I enjoyed playing it with Mummy and Pa Pa.
