I'm 1 month old!

I'm one month old today and celebrated my full month in my house in sembawang. It's the 1st time that I'm returning home as for the past one month I have been staying in Ah Ma's house. It has been a busy day for Mummy, Papa and Ah Ma and finally Mummy & Papa managed to squeeze out some time to take a picture with me when the guests left. Mummy didn't take a lot of picture for me as compared to Jie Jie's time as she was busy with the guests though she cut down the guests list by more than 50%!

I'm engrossed in Ah Gong's Game Boy. I even taught Ah Gong and Papa how to play certain games leh! Mummy said this is terrible as I'm addicted and it's not educational at all. That's why she got me the leapster. Mummy, I may not like the leapster lor and still prefer Ah Gong's Game Boy. We shall see! Hehehe...

Full Month Celebration

Baby Shaine will be 1 month old tomorrow and Mummy has ordered an elmo romper for 妹妹. Luckily the order from http://www.allaboardtoys.com/ arrived in time otherwise 妹妹 will have to wear the carter's romper

End of Term 2

It's the end of term 2 and Teacher Felicia and Ms Lee have compiled the work which I have done during the term in the file and asked me to bring them home for Mummy and Papa to see.

There's term party in school today and we are allowed to wear our home clothing. Look at me, getting all dressed up for the party!

I'm 3 weeks old!

I'm 3 weeks old today and having growth spurt! Normally, I'm drinking 100-125ml of EBM but today I'm drinking 155ml!!! Jie Jie, I'm catching up with u! Hehehe, u are only drinking 240ml!

Styrofoam Box Needed!

Anyone knows where to get those white styrofoam box which can keep things cold? Mummy needs to bring the frozen EBM back to sembawang house! Ah Ma's freezer is going to explode soon!

This blanket is supposed to be for 妹妹 but Mummy realised that this blanket is bigger than the normal receiving blanket so it's going to be mine instead of 妹妹. Haha... And guess how much is this Baby Gap blanket? It's only S$5 lor!

Shopping doesn't stop after delivery & confinement!

Shopping Queen Mummy doesnt stop shopping even on the day Baby Shaine is delivered. Aunty Karen sms-ed Mummy after Baby Shaine is delivered and informed her that the Leapfog Clickstart is on big sale and there she goes shopping happily via sms and ordered the Tiny Love MagIQ for Shaine & the Clickstart fo me.

Umbilical Cord

Baby Shaine umbilical cord dropped yesterday. Ah Ma discovered it when changing my diaper and couldn't find it on the bed. After much searching, it was found under my romper.

Breastfeeding

Mummy is determined to make breastfeeding a success this time round as she was only 50% successful during my time. I think I suckle on the nipple too hard that she had sore nipple, that's why she couldn't latch me on. Partly, she's lazy also lar, as she didn't wake up in the middle of the night to pump milk milk, of course supply not as much as this time round lor. 妹妹 was latched on most of the time except for a couple of times when Mummy wants her to get used to bottle feeding too. Ah Ma will do the bottle feeding so that 妹妹 will not get confused.

Mummy's milk only came in on the 3rd-4th day and beside latching 妹妹, these are the excess which I can drink too! Hahaha... 妹妹, can u tell jie jie if the milk milk taste nice???

TMC Room 613

Mummy's friend told her that if she's staying in 1 bedded room, must ask for level 6 newly renovated room. When Papa is doing the admission, Mummy told her to ask for Level 6 room but all the 1 bedded room on level 6 are not available but will change the room for Mummy when it's available. For the 1st night, Mummy stayed in Room 513 and on Friday night, the room was changed to Room 613.

Breastfeeding

Baby Shaine is on totally breastfeeding since Day 1 and Mummy hope to breastfeed her for as long as 10 months. I was breastfed for 10 months but total breastfed for about 6 months as Mummy didn't have enough breast milk for me. Till date, Mummy has managed to freeze 6-7 bags of 250ml of breast milk in the fridge. I wonder if I will like the taste of the breast milk now. * Hehe...
